We are pleased to announce we have recently been approved by ILM to supply the following new Qualifications:

ILM Level 2 Award and Certifiacte in Team Leading

ILM Level 3 Award and Certificate in First Line Management

ILM Level 3 Award and Certificate in Leadership

ILM Level 5 Award and Certificate in Leadership and Management Skills

We also still provide our ILM Endorsed Sensei Programme (Lean Practitioner)

The Sensei Award

Transcend Group was commended by Keith Attwood of the Centre of Engineering Excellence at the Sensei award ceremony. He said the concept and development of the Sensei programme fulfilled exactly what was needed by SME manufacturers.

With the enthusiasm of the lead trainer Roger Edmonds the programme gave its delegates the knowledge and spirit to take back to their respective companies the information to implement Lean Manufacturing.

The programme duration was 14 weeks and resulted in the delegates undertaking an exam which gave them the opportunity of being awarded the ILM certificate. The range of modules consisted of Leadership, Team Building, Health & Safety, Project Management and all aspects of Lean Manufacturing.

In recognition of the success of the programme mention should be made of Michael Allen who presented Leadership, Norman Carter Team Building and Rita Leek Health & Safety.

ILM Team Leaders Workshop

News from Saudi Arabia

We have just returned from a successful time in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where we have presented and facilitated two workshops; Innovative Cost Reduction and Quality Improvement. In addition to this we spent three days at a Company in Jubail helping the management to improve their knowledge of Lean Tools & Techniques.

The workshops were so successful we have now been asked to assist three other companies to implement Lean Manufacturing philosophy.
