DEALING WITH CONFLICT

Conflict can be both good and evil. Conflict of ideas should stimulate innovation and provide useful information and viewpoints upon which to make decisions. The wrong kind of conflict can be personally damaging and affect morale, motivation and creativity.
Participants will look at types of conflict and their effects, learning the difference between productive and counter-productive. Case studies will be used in groups to enable them to consider and try various techniques for managing conflict.
