Course No. ML11
Informal mentoring has been in existence for centuries, but in recent years successful leaders have discovered that formal mentoring arrangements bring rich rewards. This mentoring programme is well worth attention if you wish to increase your retention of graduate trainees.
The benefits of mentoring are discussed through participant’s own reflection on the encouragement and assistance that they received (or did not receive) in their early career years. The merits and practicalities of existing schemes are analysed to test the relevance to participant’s own organisations. Mentoring skills are identified and practice sessions used to enhance them.
Executives, senior managers.
