Course Introduction

Working in teams is one of the core skills all employees need to be able to operate effectively in today’s working environment. But most people have never had any training in how to operate in teams, so far too many teams under achieve. This course looks at the build up of a team, the mechanics of team building and includes a crucial examination of the interpersonal behaviours necessary to encourage teamwork within the group. The course allows participants to receive feedback (at a subsequent confidential individual session) on the way the group perception of their behaviour relates to their own view, and allows participants to identify how they can improve team-building behaviours

  • To give participants an understanding of teamwork
  • To provide a framework for developing effective teamwork
  • To evaluate the individual behaviours necessary for effective teamwork
  • To give each participant valuable feedback on their personal style
